T&J Marketing · Blog Why see a free website draft before you pay
Most web designers ask for money first. We think you should see your site first.

The usual way puts the risk on you
Many website projects start with a deposit, a contract, and a wait. You only find out whether you like the design after you have already paid part of the bill. If the result misses the mark, you are stuck choosing between more money for revisions or walking away from what you already spent.
A draft answers the big questions up front
- Does it look like my business? You see your name, your services, and your photos on a real page, not a mockup of someone else's site.
- Does it work on my phone? Most customers will visit on a phone, so you check it there yourself.
- Is the price fair for what I got? You judge the actual work before paying for it.
How our draft works
You tell us about your business: your name, what you do, your hours, the phone number you want listed, and any photos. We build a working draft, typically in 1 to 3 days, and send you a private preview link. The link is unlisted and marked noindex, so search engines do not list it. Learn more about Site Preview.
Then you decide
Ask for changes within your plan's edit rounds. When you are happy, approve and pay. If not, we take the draft down and you owe nothing. Once paid in full, the site is yours. See how the handoff works.
